FACULTY RESEARCH PHOTOCOPYING & INTERCAMPUS EXCHANGE PROGRAM - FY 2008/09

The General Campus Subcommittee is pleased to solicit applications for Faculty Research Photocopying & Intercampus Exchange Program for Fiscal Year 2008/09.
 
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS IS 2 P.M., MARCH 31, 2009
Applications received after this date will be considered in the Fall Quarter.
 

GENERAL CAMPUS SUBCOMMITTEE ON RESEARCH SUPPORT
THROUGH ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS

PHOTOCOPYING:

Academic departments are eligible for research photocopying expenses for Academic Senate faculty only. This departmental award is based upon $75/Senate member. These funds are for academic senate members' research copying needs and are not intended for administrative purposes.
 
Applications are available in MS Word Format and Adobe Acrobat PDF Format. Please submit applications to:

INTERCAMPUS EXCHANGE PROGRAM:

Academic departments are eligible for Intercampus Exchange Program grants. Block grants are awarded at the rate of $75 for Academic Senate members and $11 for registered graduate students. Departments in turn provide airfare to Senate members and registered graduate students for travel to other UC campuses for research purposes. (This does not include attendance at conferences or presentation of seminars). Awards are made within departments for airfare only (not to exceed $250), or mileage in lieu of airfare. No other expenses are allowable.
 
Faculty consulted and the title of the project will be required.

USE OF FUNDS:

Expenditures of research grant funds must conform to the Subcommittee allocations by categories and purpose--no exceptions.
 
Departments are responsible for the administration of the grant, any overdrafts, and must review the budget and return to the Subcommittee any funds that will not be spent by June 30, 2010.

FUNDS NOT EXPENDED BY JUNE 30, 2010 WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY RETURNED TO THE SUBCOMMITTEE.
