| (A) | This committee shall consist of five ordinary members of the Division. [Am 4/22/86] |
| (B) | The committee shall solicit recommendations and nominate two members of the faculty or staff at San Diego whose research has made a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge, who shall each present a public lecture on a topic of his or her choice. There shall be two such awards annually: one in the Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences and one in the Sciences. The nominations shall be made to the Representative Assembly or the Division no later than its final meeting in the spring term, and the lectures shall be presented during the following academic year.
